The South's finest kept secret!
The Legend of the Possadillo
The possadillo, an improbable creature existing in the deep woodlands around Waverly, Tennessee. The possadillo, an unlikely animal, the offspring of possums and armadillos. The possadillo, a living and breathing, eating and drinking reality, often misunderstood, living in peaceful existence near humankind.

The story of the possadillo begins in the abundant natural areas around the small town of Waverly, Tennessee during the late 1980s. Around this time, a few solitary and lonely armadillos began making their way toward Tennessee and within that great state the intrepid travelers and wayfaring wondering wanderers finally found the town of Waverly. When they reached Waverly, they found a destination that was a veritable paradise, a peaceful sanctuary, and a friendly and hospitable home.

As luck may play a role in life, these armadillos also found friendly and hospitable possums. Destiny became fulfilled when on a moonlit night with the music of mother nature whistling through the winds in the woods, these oddball beautiful creatures created the first little baby possadillos while nestled together in the warmth of an old barn.

The little possadillos were obviously cute but through an amazing miracle force of nature, the possadillos had gained the intelligence, knowledge and powers of the possum and the armadillo and united them into one singular mighty animal, The Possadillo!!! And as if that were not enough, possadillos had somehow gained extra senses, abilities, and even mysterious and mischievous unexplained behaviors.

The possadillo is improbable, rare and elusive, strange and beautiful. The possadillo is a true legend that continues to reach out to the creative spirit and imaginations of humans and will literally reach out with a helping paw when needed.
